Well established international company is seeking a part-time Accounting Assistant to support financial recordkeeping and internal control efforts related to its Mexico branch operations. This role is well-suited for individuals with basic accounting knowledge and an interest in international business environments.

Responsibilities:
Assist with the review and organization of accounting records from the Mexico branch
Support the preparation of detailed asset breakdowns and reconciliation of balance sheet items
Follow up on outstanding receivables and payables in coordination with clients and local accounting staff
Organize and verify accounting documentation
Coordinate with the accounting team in Mexico and report to the NY-based Finance Manager and senior staff

未収金・未払金に関する顧客への確認作業
社内経理担当者(メキシコ現地スタッフ)とのやりとり
必要に応じたその他経理関連業務の補助
日商簿記3級をお持ちの方でしたら米国内での経験がなくてもOKです。
Requirements
Qualifications:
Basic accounting knowledge (equivalent to Nissho Boki Level 3 or introductory bookkeeping training)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in coordination with a remote team
Japanese language proficiency is a plus but not required
No prior U.S. or Japan-based accounting experience necessary—training will be provided
Open to early-career candidates who demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to learn

Start Date: Flexible — the position will begin as soon as the right candidate is identified
Duration: Open-ended — with potential for long-term engagement based on performance
Hourly Rate: Starting at $21.50/hour, with potential for increase depending on performance and scope
Supervision: Direct training and support from the NY Finance Manager and internal accounting team
