Description

Book Keeper / Administration Assistance work
・ Transaction book keeping, record keeping management for the company's USA operation which includes E-commerce, pop up store, and other activities
・ Data Input of transaction to accounting system software
・ Liaison between outsourcing accounting / CPA’s, Japan Headquarter accounting
・ Administrative work for pop up, B to B product logistics, systems,
・ Accounts Payable Assistant

■ Responsibilities:

• Data input, bookkeeping, and back-up support requirements
• Input and maintain vendor and payment account invoices and payments
• Responsible for record keeping data input transactions
• New vendor management and confirm bank details
• Work collaboratively with various departments to perform accounting audits and ad hoc reporting
• Work collaboratively with various departments, outsource Accountant, CPA’s, Japan HQ to resolve discrepancies
• Identify key areas for improvement and implement processes to increase efficiency for operation
• Logistics and product management in NY area
• Administrative assistance for pop up operation

■ Job Type: Part time

■ Required Hours: 2 days a week / 10am- 6pm / Remote work possible (attend 1.5 hour meeting once per month at NY office location)

Others:Flexibility in work contents and days (may expand work day due to expansion of business operation) is a plus


Requirements

• 3 years of book-keeping, accounting or transferable experience.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Reading and writing of Japanese and English (English- daily communication level)
• Ability to offer solutions through independent learning and problem solving
• Attention to detail, strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Self-motivated and cable of handling multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience with Microsoft office applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
• Experience within Excel like pivots, VLOOKUPs, INDEX & SUM is a plus.
