Company Overview

A large global system integrator and IT services company is seeking an experienced Manager / Senior Manager to join its New York team.

The company provides a broad range of technology solutions and consulting services to corporate clients, including system implementation, digital transformation, enterprise applications, cloud and infrastructure solutions, cybersecurity, data-related solutions, and ongoing IT support.

Position Overview

The Manager / Senior Manager will lead system implementation and operational support projects while managing team members, external vendors, and customer relationships.

This position is responsible for analyzing business and system requirements and overseeing the implementation, enhancement, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers, internal technical teams, external vendors, and overseas counterparts to ensure projects and ongoing system operations are delivered effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Lead enterprise application implementation, enhancement, and operational support projects

Manage project schedules, resources, deliverables, risks, and issues

Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into appropriate technical solutions

Coordinate with customers, internal teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle

Manage third-party vendors, including non-Japanese technology vendors

Oversee application maintenance, troubleshooting, and system improvements

Ensure projects and operational activities follow appropriate SDLC processes and IT service management practices

Provide guidance and leadership to project and technical team members

Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to customers and senior management

Coordinate with overseas teams as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise application implementation and/or application operations

Strong project management experience

Experience managing external technology vendors

Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Familiarity with ITIL principles and IT service management

Strong analytical, requirements analysis, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills

Experience with SAP or another major ERP platform preferred

SAP or other relevant ERP certification preferred

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and negotiation skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Strong English communication skills

Business-level Japanese required for communication and coordination with overseas teams

Compensation

Annual Salary: $100,000 - $150,000

Starting compensation will depend on job-related factors including experience, qualifications, education, technical expertise, and overall skill level. The stated range represents a good-faith estimate of the anticipated compensation range at the time of posting.

主な業務内容

• エンタープライズアプリケーションの導入、改善、運用サポートプロジェクトのリード

• プロジェクトスケジュール、リソース、成果物、リスク、課題の管理

• ビジネス要件・システム要件の分析および適切なITソリューションへの落とし込み

• 顧客、社内チーム、外部ベンダーとのプロジェクト全般における調整

• 外部ITベンダーの管理

• アプリケーションの保守、トラブルシューティング、システム改善

• SDLCおよびITサービスマネジメントに沿ったプロジェクト・運用管理

• プロジェクトメンバー、技術チームメンバーへの指導・マネジメント

• 顧客および経営層へのプロジェクト進捗、課題、リスク、改善提案等の報告

• 必要に応じた海外チームとの連携・調整

応募資格

• Computer Science、Information Technology、または関連分野のBachelor’s Degree

• ERPシステムの導入またはアプリケーション運用における10年以上の経験

• プロジェクトマネジメント経験

• 外部ITベンダーの管理経験

• SDLC（Software Development Life Cycle）に関する知識

• ITILおよびITサービスマネジメントに関する知識

• 要件分析、システム保守、トラブルシューティングに関する高い分析力

• SAPまたはその他主要ERPシステムの経験があれば尚可

• SAPまたはERP関連資格があれば尚可

• リーダーシップおよびチームマネジメント能力

• 高いコミュニケーション力、問題解決力、論理的思考力、交渉力

• チームおよび個人の双方で業務を遂行できる方

• ビジネスレベルの英語力

• 海外チームとの連携・コミュニケーションのため、ビジネスレベルの日本語力必須

給与

年収 $100,000～$150,000
