Our client is a large international asset management firm with a strong global presence and a long-standing track record in institutional investment management. The firm offers a collaborative, performance-driven environment with exposure to global equity markets and sophisticated investment strategies.
This role supports the Equity team across trade execution, portfolio analysis, and operational functions. The Associate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely execution of trades, monitoring portfolio performance, and supporting data management and reporting processes. The position also partners closely with front, middle, and back-office teams to maintain operational integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and process equity trades in coordination with internal teams and external brokers
Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, including attribution and allocation
Track cash positions and maintain performance-related databases
Ensure accuracy and completeness of trade settlements and reporting
Collaborate with operations, compliance, and IT teams on process improvements and automation initiatives
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal stakeholders
Support equity research analysts and operations teams with administrative and analytical tasks
Maintain strong adherence to internal controls, risk management, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
3–4+ years of experience in financial services, with exposure to trading or investment operations
Prior experience in equities, trading, portfolio management, or related areas
Solid understanding of equity markets and financial instruments
Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in MS Office
Experience with Bloomberg or similar financial tools required
Familiarity with trading systems (e.g., AIM) and tools such as VBA, SQL, or data analytics platforms is a plus
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Compensation
Base Salary: $100,000 – $110,000
Eligible for discretionary bonus based on performance
