Compensation: $80–$100 per hour (depending on experience)
Relocation: Willingness to relocate to the Miami area for the duration of the project is required
Position Summary
A consumer products manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Oracle Specialist to support the implementation, administration, and optimization of Oracle-based systems. This role will focus on maintaining database performance, supporting enterprise applications, and ensuring data integrity and security throughout the project lifecycle.
This is a 6-month project-based assignment requiring bilingual communication skills in Japanese and English to collaborate with both local and overseas teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, monitor, and maintain Oracle databases
- Ensure data availability, integrity, and security
- Perform database performance tuning and query optimization
- Manage backup and recovery processes using Oracle tools (RMAN)
- Support Oracle-based enterprise applications (such as ERP systems)
- Troubleshoot and resolve database and system-related issues
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement improvements
- Document system configurations, procedures, and technical processes
- Support system upgrades, migrations, and implementation projects
- Ensure compliance with security policies and audit requirements

データベースの安定稼働およびパフォーマンス向上を支援し、システムの信頼性とセキュリティを維持する役割を担っていただきます。
本ポジションは、日本語および英語でのコミュニケーションが必要な6か月のプロジェクト業務となります。
主な業務内容
- Oracleデータベースのインストール、設定、運用管理
- データの可用性・整合性・セキュリティの維持
- パフォーマンスチューニングおよびクエリ最適化
- Oracle RMANを使用したバックアップおよびリカバリー管理
- Oracleベースの業務システム（ERP等）のサポート
- システムおよびデータベースに関するトラブルシューティング
- 開発チームと連携したシステム改善対応
- システム設定および手順書等のドキュメント作成
- システムアップグレードおよび移行プロジェクトの支援
- セキュリティポリシーおよび監査要件への対応
応募資格
必須条件:

コンピュータサイエンス、情報技術、または関連分野の学士号
（または同等の実務経験） - Oracle技術に関する実務経験3年以上
- Oracle Database Administrator（DBA）としての実務経験
- SQLおよびPL/SQLの実務経験
- 日本語および英語での業務対応が可能な方

Requirements
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle technologies
- Proven experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA)
- Experience supporting enterprise-level systems
Technical Skills:
- Oracle Database (11g, 12c, 19c or newer)
- SQL and PL/SQL
- Oracle RMAN (backup and recovery)
- Database performance tuning and optimization
Language Requirements:
- Japanese and English bilingual communication skills (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Cloud
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
- Experience supporting ERP or large-scale enterprise applications
- Experience working in manufacturing environments
