Position Overview
The Outside Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for showing rental properties, advising clients, and driving leasing transactions to successful completion. This position involves extensive fieldwork throughout New York City and requires strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct property showings and provide leasing consultation to prospective tenants
Meet clients on-site for property tours and respond to inquiries
Develop and maintain client relationships through follow-up and service
Negotiate lease terms and coordinate move-in schedules with landlords and management companies
Perform market research and visit properties/management offices as needed
Maintain accurate client and activity records in internal systems
Prepare reports and complete administrative tasks related to leasing activities

New York State Real Estate License, or willingness to obtain one
Valid U.S. work authorization
Experience in real estate leasing, rental brokerage, or customer-facing sales preferredBusiness-level proficiency in both English and Japanese (spoken and written)
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Basic computer skills (Email, Excel, Word, CRM systems)
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, field-based schedule
Work Schedule & Environment
- Standard hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour break)
- Primarily field-based role with client meetings and property visits throughout NYC
- Office attendance approximately three days per week, depending on business needs
- During initial training period, full in-office attendance may be required
- Schedule flexibility required based on client appointments and property showingsCompensation
This position is classified under the Outside Sales Exemption and offers a combination of base salary and commission.
Base Salary: $3,200 – $3,300 per month (depending on experience)
Commission: Performance-based commission and bonus structure
Comprehensive commission program provided (details to be discussed during the interview process)
Training/Probationary Period Base Salary: $3,000 per month + commission
