Overview
A leading international financial institution located in Midtown Manhattan is seeking an experienced IT Officer to support and enhance its enterprise systems environment. This role will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure operations, participating in system projects, and providing technical support to internal users across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in network and server administration, virtualization, and enterprise-class system environments, along with professional bilingual communication skills (Japanese/English).
Description
- Manage and participate in IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, configuration changes, integrations, and deployments
- Administer and maintain Windows PCs, Windows Servers, virtualization environments, firewalls, and other network devices
- Troubleshoot system issues and implement stable, long-term solutions
- Support digital platforms and internal tools; provide assistance to end users and IT team members
- Perform system recovery operations for branch servers, network systems, and firewalls (including occasional weekend emergency response)
- Maintain and update contingency and disaster recovery plans, including backup site operations and annual testing
- Conduct daily and monthly operational tasks, including system status checks, security patching, and reporting
- Participate in scheduled maintenance and testing activities during weekdays and weekends as needed

ミッドタウンに所在する 日系銀行 にて、IT インフラ運用およびネットワーク管理を中心とした IT オフィサーを募集いたします。本ポジションは、社内システムの安定運用、改善、障害対応に加え、各種 IT プロジェクトにも参画いただくポジションです。Windows 系システム、仮想化環境、ネットワーク機器など、幅広い領域においてハンズオンで対応できる方を求めています。日英バイリンガルでのコミュニケーション力が必要となります。
主な業務内容
IT インフラ関連プロジェクトの企画・管理・運用サポート
Windows PC / Windows Server / 仮想化環境 / ファイアウォール / ネットワーク機器の管理・保守
社内ユーザーおよび IT チームメンバーからの技術的問い合わせ対応
システム障害対応および根本原因調査・改善策実施
拠点サーバー・ネットワーク等のリカバリー対応（緊急時は週末対応あり）
災害対策（BCP/DR）計画・運用、およびバックアップサイトの維持管理
日次／月次での稼働状況確認、パッチ適用、レポート作成
計画メンテナンス作業およびテスト（平日・必要に応じて週末）
応募資格
コンピュータサイエンス、情報システム関連の学士号、または同等の実務経験
ネットワークおよびサーバー運用・設計・構築に関する 5年以上の実務経験
LAN/WAN、Cisco ルーター／スイッチ／ファイアウォール、仮想化基盤に関する技術知識
日本語・英語でのビジネスコミュニケーション能力（会話・読み書き・文書作成）
ロジカルな問題解決力およびドキュメンテーション能力
歓迎条件
銀行・金融機関での IT 部門勤務経験
BCP/DR 運用・テスト経験
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network and server administration, system design, or infrastructure implementation
- Strong technical knowledge of LAN/WAN environments, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and virtual infrastructure platforms
- Professional bilingual communication skills in Japanese and English (spoken, written, documentation)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation/report preparation skillsPreferred Qualities
Experience with incident response and business continuity planning
