An established asset management firm with over $1 billion in assets under management (AUM) is seeking a dynamic Equity Analyst to join its investment team. This new position has become available due to the firm’s immense business expansion and the launch of new investment initiatives across multiple asset classes. The analyst will work closely with Stock Fund Managers, PE Fund Managers, and Fixed Income Fund Managers in supporting portfolio decisions, conducting in-depth research, and generating actionable investment ideas. Description

An established asset management firm with over $1 billion in assets under management (AUM) is seeking a dynamic Equity Analyst to join its investment team. This new position has become available due to the firm’s immense business expansion and the launch of new investment initiatives across multiple asset classes.

The analyst will work closely with Stock Fund Managers, PE Fund Managers, and Fixed Income Fund Managers in supporting portfolio decisions, conducting in-depth research, and generating actionable investment ideas. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a long-only equity portfolio and be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering superior risk-adjusted returns.



Key Responsibilities:

Conduct bottom-up fundamental research and financial modeling to evaluate equities across target sectors.
Perform industry and sector analysis to identify trends, market drivers, and investment opportunities.
Generate buy/sell/hold recommendations and support portfolio construction decisions.
Create detailed investment reports, earnings summaries, and thematic research notes for internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor company developments, news, and earnings results to assess portfolio impact.
Collaborate with Portfolio Managers on valuation analysis, DCF modeling, and scenario stress testing.
Participate in management meetings, industry conferences, and site visits to gather market intelligence.

Sectors Covered:
Real Estate, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Staples, Consumer Discretionary, Industrials, and selective growth opportunities in related markets.

Requirements

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/CFA preferred).
Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and equity valuation methodologies.
Proven experience in equity research, financial modeling, or investment analysis (internship or full-time).
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
