Hot immediate Hire Opportunity!! Well-known Japanese manufacturer seeks Sales Executive with sales experience for its midtown Manhattan office. With manufacturing facilities overseas, the company offers a wide range of premium quality products for retailers, brands, food businesses and promotional events.


Description

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Generate new revenue from existing and new sales accounts, with a focus on retail, beauty, and food verticals, as well as promotional and event groups within organizations.
  • Secure business from previous position’s portfolio.
  • Prospect self-generated leads through inside and outside market research.
  • Arrange in-person meetings both locally and remotely, including 4-6 out-of-town travels annually.
  • Create and deliver proposals to potential clients.
  • Manage orders throughout the sales cycle while liaising with US and overseas manufacturing facilities.
  • Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable for performance-based income.
  • Meet annual quotas for sales revenue and gross profit.
  • Develop understanding of product manufacturing through initial and ongoing training.
  • Maintain organized contact records and sales reports.
  • Participate in bi-weekly sales calls and attend out-of-town trade shows and out-of-state business meetings.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Serve customers by selling products and meeting their needs.
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules.
  • Tailor sales presentations according to the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information.
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy based on evaluation of results and competitive developments.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
  • Provide historical records by maintaining sales records.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

-Minimum 4 years of direct business-to-business sales experience with a demonstrated track record of profitable sales. 
-Must have a valid Driver's License.
-Exceptional English communication skill is a must.(Bilingual Japanese is not required.)
