Overview
We are seeking a proactive and bilingual Project Manager (Japanese/English) to lead application development projects and provide hands-on support to clients in the Los Angeles area. This role is ideal for someone with strong project management experience and a passion for driving operational excellence through client engagement and digital transformation.
Description
1. Project Management
Lead end-to-end application development projects from planning and design through execution and delivery
Track progress, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure quality standards are met
Communicate effectively across internal teams and client stakeholders to align on goals and priorities
Collaborate with engineers to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements
2. Client Support (Semi On-Site)
Support client operations through semi on-site engagement several times per week in the Los Angeles area
Gain deep insight into client workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements
Act as a trusted operational partner, responding to urgent issues and providing on-the-ground assistance
3. Business Development
Build long-term relationships with key client stakeholders
Identify new business opportunities based on market needs and client feedback
Help expand service offerings by recommending value-added solutions and supporting internal growth initiatives

Requirements
Business-level communication skills in both Japanese and English (verbal and written)
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in application development
Experience working directly with clients, including on-site support or consultation
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
Interest or experience in business development and account management
Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master)
Strong knowledge of web and mobile application development
Familiarity with development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
Experience with project tools such as JIRA, Trello, Notion, or similar platforms
Salary Range: $70,000 – $95,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
