Job Description:

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1) General

Under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager, this position manages all commercial and contractual activities related to our new business initiatives in industrial infrastructure solutions. This role involves market research, business development, proposal and bid management, negotiations, account management, sales execution, and compliance with regulatory requirements (if applicable), ensuring all commercial activities are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.

2) Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement both long- and short-term market strategies while evaluating their outcomes.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities for the company’s innovative products and solutions within the industrial infrastructure market.
  • Manage the entire bid/request for proposal (RFP) process for potential new projects.
  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships to strengthen market positioning, increase business opportunities, and enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Capture customer feedback and market demands to drive continuous improvements in our business solutions.
  • Oversee all commercial aspects of project execution, including contract negotiations, terms and conditions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop strategies for addressing complex commercial and contractual issues, including change orders, and support agreement negotiations with customers and suppliers.
  • Lead and manage a team, assigning appropriate resources to support each project while ensuring the creation and maintenance of efficient processes and procedures.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their business development and account management competencies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, legal counsel, and department heads to resolve contractual issues and ensure the company’s interests are protected.



Requirements

Qualifications:

1) Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with problem-solving expertise to coordinate interdepartmental and client-related activities for the best possible outcome. Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract claim preparation and defense.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in industrial infrastructure maintenance and predictive maintenance solutions, with the ability to effectively plan, budget, schedule, and manage resources for project and account management.
  • Strong understanding of market demands and customer needs within the industrial infrastructure and transportation sectors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the U.S.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business software.

2) Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a focus on business administration or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in business development, account management, or a similar role within the industrial infrastructure or heavy industry sector.
  • Experience working with major industrial maintenance companies or suppliers is preferred.
