The company seeks a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage accounting and logistics activities within its U.S. operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting:
Prepare and verify daily reports.
Record daily income and sales; prepare journal entries.
Process daily deposits of sales receipts.
Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts.
Prepare checks and compile monthly reports.
Investigate and collect outstanding invoices.
Issue invoices and input accounts payable (AP) expenses.
Prepare and submit monthly payment lists for management approval.
Assist in preparing financial statements.
Manage accounts receivable (AR) and AP accounts.
Ensure 100% accuracy in financial reporting.
Logistics:
Complete accurate purchase orders based on customer orders.
Coordinate shipping schedules with headquarters (HQ) to meet customer requirements.
Communicate delivery dates and updates to customers.
Respond to delivery inquiries and resolve issues.
Forward shipping documents to customs brokers and customers.
Coordinate with forwarding agents and ensure accurate shipment tracking.
Monitor consignment inventory.
Provide regular logistics updates to internal teams.
Issue purchase orders, send invoices, and inform customers of delivery status promptly.
Develop and upgrade logistics systems (e.g., SAP, SAGE) and maintain documentation.
Customer Support:
Ensure timely and accurate customer support.
Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality satisfaction.

Requirements

Computer proficiency; experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferred.

Office Policy:
Working Hours: Generally 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (with a one-hour unpaid lunch break between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM).
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: Based on experience, paid semi-monthly.
Employment Status: Non-Exempt.
Introductory Period: 3 months.
Performance Evaluation: Annually, typically year-end.
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k) Plan.
Vacation: 10 days (1-3 years), 15 days (4-10 years), 20 days (10+ years).
Personal & Sick Days: 7 days annually.
Business Expenses: Reasonable travel expenses reimbursed.
