Chemical manufacturing company seeks Sales Representative with experience in chemical sales to join our growing team in NYC.
Drive revenue growth by maintaining existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities.
Promote specialty chemical products and provide technical support.
Travel within North America.
Position Overview:
Develop new customers and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
Increase profitability through product promotion and sales activities across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
Set sales goals and update territory plans with management.
Identify sales opportunities through research and networking.
Deliver product presentations to potential and existing customers.
Recommend products based on client requirements.
Communicate with headquarters in Asia and global subsidiaries.
Expand account base through prospecting, cross-selling, and up-selling.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Stay informed on product innovations and industry trends.
Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Monitor market developments and competitor activities.
Negotiate pricing and terms with customers.
Prepare and present sales quotes.
Relay demand changes to procurement teams.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Use digital platforms and tools for marketing and sales.
Maintain proficiency with customer management software.
Represent the company professionally at client visits and industry events.
Participate in industry associations and networking groups.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of sales experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
Experience in specialty chemical sales to industrial sectors (coatings, adhesives, sealants) preferred.
