We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Logistics Sales Representative to join our team. This position focuses on developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering customized logistics solutions, including ocean freight, domestic transportation, and warehousing services. The role reports to the General Manager and requires a proactive approach to achieving and exceeding sales targets.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting and building relationships with potential customers.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor for their logistics needs.
  • Develop and deliver tailored proposals and presentations to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to secure profitable deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of logistics services.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.



Working Environment:

  • Some domestic travel and occasional international travel to meet clients and attend industry events.

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a sales representative in the logistics industry.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Proven experience in logistics sales, including ocean freight, domestic transportation, and warehousing.
  • Strong ability to acquire new customers and establish pipelines directly with shippers or other key decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required).
  • Fluent in English (read, write, and speak) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Existing network of shippers and contacts in the logistics industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping processes is a plus.
