This position is responsible for contributing to the growth of the business and increasing profits by performing sales and marketing functions.

Essential Job Duties:

Sales Functions

  • Develop and implement sales plans and pricing strategies.
  • Negotiate with current and potential customers to close sales proposals.
  • Coordinate all aspects of sales for assigned region(s) and accounts.
  • Maintain inventory levels and evaluate internal and external production and quality control reports.
  • Participate in sales meetings.
  • Prepare sales reports for management on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Coordinate other aspects of sales operations, including logistics and warehousing as necessary.

Marketing Functions

  • Develop and execute targeted product marketing strategies.
  • Develop and deliver presentations.
  • Coordinate marketing operations for assigned region(s).
  • Research market trends via magazines, advertisements, websites, trade shows, and other industry events to generate sales leads.
  • Identify and follow up on all sales leads through market research, inquiries, and referrals from suppliers or distributors.
  • Establish, enhance, and maintain relations with current and potential customers.

Customer Account Management

  • Regularly contact customers via telephone, email, letters, and in-person meetings to ascertain their needs and maintain a smooth flow of business and information.
  • Liaise between customers and customer service staff members.
  • Follow up on past-due accounts to ensure timely collections.
  • Provide price quotes, proposals, and credit terms to current and prospective customers.
  • Visit current and prospective customers to make product presentations.
  • Monitor customer order patterns and follow up on irregularities, missed orders, or inactive accounts.
  • Identify and propose timely solutions to customer needs or problems.

Profit Maximization

  • Review and sign invoices.
  • Analyze sales trends, logistics trends, operating efficiency, product presentations, monthly financials, and best practices to make adjustments for maximizing profit.
  • Research and identify potential customers.
  • Develop proactive sales methods, including customer presentations, phone sales, and business opportunities at trade shows and industry events.
  • Ensure the accuracy of transactions and payments.



Requirements

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Minimum Experience and Capability Requirements:

  • 4 to 7 years of related account management and B2B sales experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Highly efficient time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong multitasking capability.
  • Excellent follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated and effective in team settings and independently.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment.
