We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Business Development Engineer to join our team, focusing on the expansion of our ceramic components business within the U.S. market. In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored solutions utilizing our advanced ceramic technologies. This position combines technical expertise with a strong sales background to establish long-term partnerships and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in industries requiring high-reliability ceramic components, such as automotive, medical, aerospace, and infrastructure.
  • Deliver technical presentations to demonstrate the advantages and applications of our ceramic components.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to provide customized solutions that meet client specifications.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and sales documentation with precise product specifications.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, sharing insights with the management team.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate sales records and provide regular performance and activity reports.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering, particularly in ceramic components, electronic components, or related high-reliability fields.
  • Strong understanding of AlN multilayered ceramic substrates, packages, antennas, and their applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. as needed to meet clients.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Japanese at a business level.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible options available, e.g., 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM) with a 1-hour break.

Holidays:

  • Weekends (Saturday and Sunday), public holidays, and company-designated holidays (approximately 20 days total).
