Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining server environments, troubleshooting issues, and overseeing the deployment and operation of cloud-based systems, primarily in Microsoft Azure. Experience with Active Directory (AD) and familiarity with AWS is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot server environments to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD), including configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
• Oversee the deployment, operation, and troubleshooting of systems within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including operational procedures and infrastructure diagrams.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing and IT infrastructure.
• Provide occasional support for systems deployed on Amazon Web Services (AWS) as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing servers, Active Directory, and cloud platforms.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of AWS is a plus.
• Familiarity with networking, security, and system performance monitoring.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications in Azure, AWS, or system administration are a plus (e.g., Microsoft Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, or similar.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of IT compliance and security best practices.

Language Requirements:

• English: Must be fluent.
• Japanese: Proficiency is good to have.

Work Environment:

• This role requires 2-3 days of onsite work per week at our New York office.
