Major Manufacturing supplier to automotive company in Farmington HIlls, MI seeks individual with experience. General supply chain management of product locally and import/export global parts operations.

Supply Chain Specialist- Automotive Parts 


We are a TIER1 supplier to Automotive Company in US. We procure the child components from US local suppliers and assemble products at partner who is assembling the components as finished part. And also, there is import and export trading business in automotive parts industries. 


KEY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 


1.General supply chain management of product locally and import/export global  

   parts operations. 

* Ordering child components to suppliers based on OEM customer monthly demand. 

* Production control of child components suppliers daily basis. 

* Arrange domestic logistics for finished parts. 

* Inventory control for child parts. 


2.Accounting activities. 

* Monthly and daily accounting activities based on internal system procedure. 


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

None. 




Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

10 plus years of supply chain management in automotive parts industry experience. 


COMPUTER SKILLS 

Basic computer skills are required as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Especially skill of Excel file is essential. 


LANGUAGE SKILLS 

Ability to read and comprehend the complex instructions, long correspondence, and memos. 

Ability to write effective correspondence. 

Proficiency in English (We have a chance to discuss with in Japanese) 


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide quadratic function, differentiation, and integration in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals 


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Licenses, Certifications, etc.) 

A valid driver’s license is required. 


REASONING ABILITY 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures to complete difficult assignments.
