Overview

Dallas, TX Area (Work from home for now). Japanese language skills are a plus but not required. This position is in charge of QA/QC. Under the direction of the supervisor, this position implements QA/QC jobs in terms of all products that produced in both overseas and domestic and maintains certificate such as SQF certification at Innovation Fulfillment Center (IFC). This position also requires to maintain FSVP for imported products.

Essential Job Functions
Primary Job Functions

QA works
•    Evaluating the co-packers, suppliers and raw materials
•    Maintain SQF with revising and updating the programs, policies and procedures with IFC management which ensure food safety and quality compliance and conduct necessary activities such as periodic meeting and audit.
•    Maintain records for organic, non-GMO and other certificates.
•    Respond to the situations where deviations have occurred or a potential risk has been identified related to food safety and/or quality.
•    Maintain Food Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) with proper required reviewing and verification.
•    Interact with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies during audits and in reference to other regulatory actions, ensuring proper follow up response and resolution to all regulatory matters.
•    Interface with Food Safety, Kosher, Organic and other certification bodies as well as third-party food safety auditors and serve as a liaison between INA’s management/ operations, and external food safety/quality agencies.
•    Reading and checking local, state, and federal regulation updates and report to supervisor.

QC works
•    QC management related to IFC and domestic and oversea co-packers.
•    Release products based on inspection and reviewing record.
•    Deal with customer complaints and non-conformity information; investigate the products, report to Management Support team, contact and research the factory or supplier.
•    Presentation of information and response to questions from operational management, sales representatives, customers, and the general publics.
•    Document works for any product related matters.
Secondary Job Functions

This position requires an ability to regularly talk and/or hear. The manager is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. This position requires an ability to read and analyze written information on a computer terminal. In addition, it requires vision abilities such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions
Noise level in the work environment is moderate (i.e. working in a business office with computers, printers, phones, etc.)
