At least conversational Japanese language skill is required. Writing in Japanese at Business level is a big plus but not a must.


Description

This position is responsible for leading the daily operation and coordination of air freight operations including supervising staff, maintaining customer accounts, negotiating rates with carriers, handling accounting, dealing with export and import regulations, handling claims and disputes, managing cargo in the warehouse, and ensuring smooth operations. Additionally, this position acts as a liaison to coordinate special project that Japan head office pursues as well as 3PL logistics (for designated client).


Requirements

One of experience from NVOCC, Customs Clearance, Hazardous Materials Certification and transportation. Supervisory skills and management experience. Excellent communication skills. Proficient in MS Office. Bachelor’s degree. Japanese language skills (at least conversational level is a must).
